I recently got this ww1 era officers uniform. 4 star Victory Medal and Mexican War Medal. Captain bars, 6-11 service stripes and honorable discharge. I need your guys thoughts on this. The fabric looks odd to me. There is a label in the inner pocket but sadly it’s unnamed.

Beautiful Fabric, could be French made.

Check the button backmarks.  They may be marked Paris, or not marked at all.  Both of which would be indictive of French manufacture.  Most uniforms I've had in that shade have been French made. If they are standard US made buttons then it's more likely it was made in the US.
