Greetings! Im the Senior Instructor at Doherty High School Navy JROTC in Colorado Springs. My 16th year! We are preserving naval history by placing on permanent display navy brass plaques from all classes of ships. We have 130 up and 75 more waiting to be displayed. Ive personslly purchased these off Ebay. Over 7000 in personal funds in a year! 
Im always looking for donations!

I have nothing like you are showing. What I do have are roughly 2x4 inch brass plates with the names and dates for subs that served in WW2. My guess is that these were a part of a naval display in the past. They are not mounted, but could be.

How did you come about them.  I now have double what you see. That wall will have 125 ships and subs all commissioned 1941-1945.   Other wall will have 100-125 later dates.

I found them at a swap meet. I had posted them, but can not find that post

I stuck them in a box I just found. i will post picks. Their are 19 total and the dates range further than I remembered

I have one that I think is from the Sealift?
