KurtA Posted Wednesday at 01:42 AM #1 Posted Wednesday at 01:42 AM Found this cleaning out the basement. Can't remember when or where I got it. Anyway, based on the stenciling, I think I pieced-together that it represents a private in Co F, 23rd Marines, 4th Marine Division. Would anyone be able to pull any info on Private C. Edmiston, Jr? Curious as to when he served and where he saw service with the 4th Marine Division in WW2. Thanks!
Gear Fanatic Posted Wednesday at 03:20 AM #2 Posted Wednesday at 03:20 AM Very nice UNIS example, the stenciling in there is super clear and clean. Always nice when you find stuff you forgot you had!
UNIS_AW97 Posted Wednesday at 03:26 AM #4 Posted Wednesday at 03:26 AM Your jacket belongs to Charles Edmiston. He was apart of G/2/23
KurtA Posted Wednesday at 02:50 PM Author #5 Posted Wednesday at 02:50 PM Thanks for the responses. It has already found a new home where it will be much more appreciated than a long forgotten box in my basement.
