ThatHistoryGuy Posted Tuesday at 11:45 PM #1 Posted Tuesday at 11:45 PM I recently bought a Desert Storm kevlar cover from an Army/Navy Store for only $5. It looks like original graffiti and I thought it was cool. I not realize i can’t really display it without a helmet. I can’t really afford a helmet so what should I do?
Gear Fanatic Posted Wednesday at 12:45 AM #2 Posted Wednesday at 12:45 AM You could frame that small graffitied bit, not sure what you would do with the excess material, but a thought…

The graffiti is on either side of the cover. Thank you though!
Justin Posted Wednesday at 03:02 AM #4 Posted Wednesday at 03:02 AM Make a form with, wood, styrofoam or cardboard and display it on a helmet stand
Gear Fanatic Posted Wednesday at 03:10 AM #5 Posted Wednesday at 03:10 AM Well if it’s both I don’t know, it’s going to look odd without a helmet, I think you may just need to choose between one side or the other and display it in a frame, That’s what I would do without a helmet.
ThatHistoryGuy Posted Wednesday at 03:12 AM Author #6 Posted Wednesday at 03:12 AM Update: A friend of mine (who unironically wore that kinda camo in Kuwait in 1994) said he is gonna see if he can 3D print a helmet to put it on. I’ll add more updates if it works out. Thank you all for the suggestions!
Gear Fanatic Posted Wednesday at 03:19 AM #7 Posted Wednesday at 03:19 AM That would work great, good luck 👍
CavalryCombatant Posted Wednesday at 03:30 AM #8 Posted Wednesday at 03:30 AM I have seen airsoft helmets that’re essentially 1:1 scale PASGT helmets made of much lighter material. There was a gentleman selling one at my local flea market a couple weeks ago for <$10
