Unknown M1910 pistol belt modification

Hi, i've found this m1910 pistol belt with 2 Springfield pouches sewn on, the stitches seem to be factory made. The pouches also do not seem to be ripped off a Springfield belt, anyone know what this is?

It’s a known mod, I believe Dorsey covers in his book.

I got the book, its in the book but the author also doesnt know what it is. Hes only seen it once or twice, probably some prototype. Thanks
