VMSB245 is this good

Won this at auction and recieved today. Not happy with back appearance looks like reproduction. Doesn’t glow at all. More familiar with decal version and know there are reproductions in cloth that are slightly different and modern. Is this a period example?

I’d agree, looks like a repro to me. Has characteristics of the butler series stuff.

Thanks for reply. The back is concerning. Did it come in an embroidered version. Notice missing the lettering “red mouse”.

I believe the only know issue is silkscreened on canvas. See my post for VMSB-245. "Red Mousie Squadron"

Thanks Rick. That is what I thought but felt worth a shot if could obtain at fair price and that it was missing the logo “red mouse sq” as a possible variation. Once in hand was not crazy about the back appearance though it has no glow. Thanks that we have this forum to get opinions and ideas and learn no matter how much you think you know.
