Mike Force Posted October 28, 2008 Share #326 Posted October 28, 2008 There is a close up view from the A-L stamped size tag. I have no idea what the hand-stitched 2A means its maybe a kind of laundry mark ?
kammo-man Posted October 28, 2008 Share #327 Posted October 28, 2008 MF I have never seen a tag like that , it could be a laundry mark . I think it is cool for sure , unique to say the least . owen
gwb123 Posted November 22, 2008 Share #328 Posted November 22, 2008 Not sure if these have been posted already, but as mentioned in another thread Life Magazine has recently posted several thousand photos from their archives on the internet. When you search their site, put in your "keyword" in the search box but make sure you include "source:Life". Here's a couple examples. (A couple of these feature Cpt. kammo-man Posted December 5, 2008 Share #345 Posted December 5, 2008 Full shot of the shorts . I wonder who cut these up ??? Most likley in the States for fun . Jerome , Your new hat is a common hunting type . In all the vintage clothing stores you can find these . The material is of a lower quality but fades just like the Nam stuff. A dead givaway is the little piece of cloth sewn across the front , a typical hunting hat design . These hats come in all colors and fabrics from Plaid to international orange . owen
