Hello all.

I see this boonie at sale here in Spain, I think that the material could be beogam but I have some doubts, the write in the interior is for a soldier in the Italian marine corps (batallion San Marco) , could be a period hat exanged with an american soldier? or it is a hunting cap made with original material? The boonie has two pockets in sides. The price is 35$, sorry but I only have two photos...(click to enlarge)

Hi yall new to this forum. I own a vintage store and had someone bring in this piece. I purchased assuming it was civilian but a friend advised me it could be first pattern beo gam despite the buttons on the back. After reading all 50 pages of this thread the cinch buttons are the main thing that's throwing me off.

Your shirt is interesting, since it has all feature of  legit Beogam, but the pattern print is a little different than what we always encounter and the waist tabs are really unusual.

I have had these trousers. since the late 1970s.  They are a small size and of rather lightweight twill fabric. The plastic buttons are smooth and unmarked. U.S. Civilians, or in-theater VN?1778677151_collection.9_17.05051.jpg.a4c26d76993d387ae8a013de5fd9ab5d.jpg

The hat looks like a commercial hunting piece form the 70s or 80s and even with the bad photos, the ARVN Ranger qualification patch looks like a reproduction. This hat has been up on ebay for awhile. Hope you didn't get it.

I can't remember if I have posted these here before but these were made for my Brother and sisters in Vietnam.

The hat was brought back with my father on his return form Vietnam.
