Kenneth Dale Nutter "Gunner" Vietnam Veteran

Rest in Peace to my Vietnam Vet grandfather, Kenneth Nutter. He passed away on 5/21/2025. His nickname was "Gunner". He was in Na Trang as an S-2 Scout Sniper attached to 2/5. I believe he was there in Vietnam in the Fall of 1974, but I am not sure. When he first got there in Vietnam, he was with ANGLICO.

 

Ken's first unit out of boot camp in September of 1972 was H&S Co, 2/5. His Scout Sniper school was at Camp Margarita. My grandpa, Ken "Gunner" Nutter was friends with a guy named Tim Yost. Tim supposedly killed himself in 1975. If anyone knew my grandpa, please tell me more about his experience. Thank you!
