1960s USMC Cherry Point Patch

Picked these up off an auction.  Anyone know of the meaning of this patch if any? Any thoughts on where the USMC patch was made? Thanks Ken

I cannot give you any context for that first patch, but if you've lived in Havelock or been stationed there, you'd certainly understand the sentiment lol....

I would call the first patch a "Fantasy Patch".  However, it sure was appropriate for that time frame.  Was back there about a year ago and it sure has changed!  I was in and out of  MCAS Cherry Point from 1970-1991, some deployments and some PCS moves.
