1961 "Camillus" Pocket Knife

Hi Folks:  Recently picked up this 1961 Camillus utility knife at a Vietnam veteran's estate sale.

Looks like it has been well taken care of.

 

The same year your knife was manufactured a similar Mil-K knife (1959 dated) was carried onboard the first US manned space flight, Alan Shepard's Freedom 7.

Thanks for your comments….I thought it was in good shape.  I have another that I picked up in the 70s …an Imperial dated 1974.  
 

I am impressed about Mercury mission..Alan Shepard taking an earlier pocket knife….Thank you for the info…I didn’t know….always learning.
