stratasfan Posted March 26 #1 Posted March 26 Got some newer DUIs and a lot of Disney pins that have corroded (the greenish stuff that is powdery). Wondering if anyone has any tips for how to clean it off? Someone said that Neverdull ruins sterling, but then our local fine jewelry shop said that's all they clean sterling with. But, these pins are just plated and not solid. Any thoughts? :) Thanks! Elizabeth

Tooth brush running water........ dry it wipe it real well heat it gently with a hair dryer.... and coat with Lacquer or clear nail polish. Itl come back if you put clasps back on the pins, but it may come back someday anyway. But that will remove it. I have used never dull on Sterling no problems.
