Grant G. Posted March 9 #1 Posted March 9 Hi all! This feels like a bit of a reunion, as just yesterday I was finally able to get back into my USMF account (had some difficulties when we went from usernames to email addresses at login). I recently acquired a netted WWI M1917 helmet and I'm at a bit of a loss as to the net. For starters, I don't think I've ever seen nets used on WWI helmets and this net is unlike any style I know of. It looks to be two pieces spliced together down that center seam. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. Sincerely, Grant
Nooby416 Posted March 9 #2 Posted March 9 I'm pretty sure that is a British helmet net or it's from another country that is part of the Commonwealth. It's definitely not from WW1 though. https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/helmets/british-canadian-nets-netted-helmets-220080-11/
