Proud Kraut Posted February 23 #3 Posted February 23 Unbelievable! This isn´t a photo of a 120mm figure but a photo of a real tanker, isnt it? Thanks for sharing one more of your stunning masterpieces, Joe! Lars
6th.MG.BN Posted February 24 #5 Posted February 24 That has to be one of the most realistic models I've ever seen! Ken
Brian Dentino Posted February 24 #7 Posted February 24 Joe, as everyone else has already said this is a masterpiece of realism and a fantastic job. Well done!
ArtyScout Posted February 26 #8 Posted February 26 Wow, this is exquisite work. Are you sure that's not a guy dressed up as a WWII tanker? Everything looks great. I love his facial expression and trousers. Semper Fi. Manny

I don't stick to any particular historical period or subject. I basically paint figures and build models of whatever strikes my fancy. While I do have an affinity for WW2, I've done Roman Legionnaires, Napoleonic's and some non-military subjects. I've even built a couple of model cars recently, something I haven't touched since Jr. High! Lately I have completed some WW2 German armor, but of course I don't post those because it's not in keeping with the focus of our forum, the US Military. I did start an American subject a few days ago, so hopefully that will get posted soon. Joe
ArtyScout Posted March 13 #13 Posted March 13 Hey Joe, I'm jealous, when I joined the Corps, I was hoping to get an armor MOS. Instead, I was given Arty. Still, this is an excellent piece of work. Semper Fi. Manny

The Gunny could not guarantee armor, so I went with the Army. Thanks again! That's right, Always Faithful! Joe
