Picked this one up cheap recently. All matching except grips. This pistol has an interesting pedicure, I wish it could speak!! It was hard to get the Seattle Police and the civil defense markings in the same pic.

Nice pickup and good looking revolver!

I also purchased a Navy and CD marked Victory last year for cheap. I was puzzled by the lower price and suspect the seller either was blind (didn't notice the Navy mark) or was put off by the CD mark. Regardless, I really like it!

As you may know. S&W did not ship in a strict, consecutive serial number order.   The ship dates appearing in the Victory Model Database near to V522881 bounce around a bit, but my estimate is that your revolver likely shipped in the February, 1944 time frame.
