Late war when production volumes were high and metals were at a premium. I can't be more specific, sorry.

 

Other WWII Mark I knifemakers did the same thing, including Geneva Forge, KaBar and Robeson.  Others, such as Kinfolks, went to all-manmade materials.

Not made before 1941.  That's when PAL bought the stock and equipment from Remington and obtained the building to place the factory.  All knife contracts for the War were terminated in August of 1945.

Most likely 1942-1945.

We can narrow it down a bit easier, it was manufactured prior to March 1944 and post June 1943.
