fabnatcyr Posted January 19 #1 Posted January 19 Hello A dagger found in France, it looks like WW2 theater production, what do you think of the poicon on the blade. A known manufacturer???
John Parker Jr. Posted January 20 #2 Posted January 20 Interesting blade, I'm wandering if that ''small groove'' has been manually added, or it was done over the manufacturing process?
fabnatcyr Posted January 20 Author #3 Posted January 20 Hello, the small groove is indeed the same size on each side of the blade but not positioned at the same length of the heel. So it was probably done manually under a grinder but badly positioned, it doesn't look very industrial. Kind regards
opseccc Posted January 22 #4 Posted January 22 I very much like the overall look of the knife. It reminds me of an India made, street Bazaar / Market knife. The logo looks like the Carl Schlieper Knives – Eye Brand.
fabnatcyr Posted January 23 Author #5 Posted January 23 Hello Yes thank you to us the logo corresponds well moreover the manufacturer had factories in Germany and in the English colonies I will ask more to the former owner a big thank you
