Wally6 Posted January 18 #1 Posted January 18 In the extensive grouping are Pvt. Webers American/French awards, 14 issues of "The Indian", 3 yard photos of the 15th Field Artillery, his gas mask, paperwork, over 100 french postcards, and his German bring backs, including a hate belt! Over the summer I was vacationing in Minocqua, WI, while browsing local antique stores for any militaria I struck up conversation with a guy who told me he had some of his grandfather's ww1 medals, and I arranged to visit him the next day at his house. When I got there, he had pulled out the grouping, and in return for me letting him keep his dogtags he gave me the grouping for free. While I primarily collect uniform/uniform groupings, I could not pass up the opportunity to own such a great and historic grouping. I hope you guys enjoy getting a look at it.
