Thought about this white helmet

Hi to all american friends,

 

On july 2024 I bought some US Model 17 camo helmets.

I’d like to share some of these helmets on the forum.

The first one is a white helmet with RUSSIA in blue painted on it.

It could be a 339th infantry regiment.

I know that the fonts are not same as the two used on boat (on the way home). But that kind  is often seen on US vehicles during WW1.

The helmet is in a good shape and the chinstrap is there but broken.

In hands it seems to be good.

No name in this one.

If it's real it's a hum dinger of a helmet. Is the lettering stenciled?

There are several of these helmets posted on the forum to compare it to.

Yes, the lettering is stenciled.
