Found locally in Crown Point, IN! Tec 4 Archie Lee Ray 34614657 was born in Batesville, MS but moved to Hammond, IN post war to work in the steel mills. He sadly passed in 1978 and is buried in Hammond. His application for his veterans headstone states he served in the “223rd QM SAL REP CO”. Could anyone provide any information about that unit and why he would have infantry discs/blue cap piping? Thanks in advance!
