B-29 Radar Tail Gun Control Box C-463/APG-3

I found this a couple of months ago. Does anyone have any insights into it? 

 

I know it was made by G.E. and used as the initial control module for the radar targeting system on the B-29 tail gun. I haven't found any images of it online, and there is really no other information on it. This model was only used briefly, so I assume only a few hundred were made. I appreciate any additional information. 

 

Below are images of the control box and the lid. The top of the lid is stamped C-463/APG-3 and has a carrying handle. The plate on the box, says 117V/400 CPS-26.5 V DC, 30 (I'm guessing this is the serial number) :CG W33-038-AC-14739.
