Illinigander Posted January 6, 2025 #1 Posted January 6, 2025 At a show near Toledo today I picked up an "OUR BOY" small war service broadside with the fellow's photograph. His name is Private Steven Paul, and was in Battery C, 149th Art. He served from Sept. 15, 1917- May 15, 1919. He has a wound stripe, unless his service stripe in mounted too high? Any information that could be provided would be appreciated. Was he from ILL? illinigander
FlyNavy02 Posted January 22, 2025 #2 Posted January 22, 2025 Paul's Pennsylvania World War I service card.
Illinigander Posted January 23, 2025 Author #3 Posted January 23, 2025 Thank you FlyNavy for that information! It is interesting that he was from PA, as the 149th Art was Illinois contribution to the Rainbow Div. But I know there was much moving around between units. illinigander
