Brig Posted January 5 #4 Posted January 5 Enlisted pattern 1926, started seeing use closer to 1930 up through WWII. Dubbed the "droop wing" or "goonie" due to its resemblance to a goonie bird, it was rather unpopular with Marines at the time but has become popular today due to its association with the China Marines of the era.
