hardstripe Posted December 23, 2024 #1 Posted December 23, 2024 I have been researching Air Force Space units for an upcoming book. I have a couple of images of Air Force Space Command patches I can't identify. I have a couple of others that I need a scan or picture of the actual patch. The first I need a name for is the Pride and Service patch. If someone has this patch and would scan or copy it, I would really appreciate the help. Thanks.
F-111A Posted December 23, 2024 #2 Posted December 23, 2024 Pride/Readiness/Service emblem is from the 1003rd Services Squadron out of Peterson AFB.
Randy Posted December 23, 2024 #3 Posted December 23, 2024 The last one is the 1003d Civil Engineering Squadron Fire Protection Flight. Some are too hard to make out as Space is not my area. You can find more from the old Space Comm. here: http://usmilitarypatches.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=113 I have a lot of these scanned and could send what I have to you if needed. Just let me know. Randy
hardstripe Posted December 24, 2024 Author #4 Posted December 24, 2024 Randy, Thanks for the help. I am updating four articles published in the ASMIC Trading Post, written by Robert G. Bramscher in the early 90s. The images used at the time were black and white and many were almost illegible. I have replaced the images with images of real patches. There were 95 images in the four articles combined. I am down to seven I have not found. I have the 1003rd Services Squadron and the Onizuka Fire Dept. If you have the other seven, please post or send to me. I will give you a copy of the four articles when I finish. Thanks again.
Randy Posted December 26, 2024 #5 Posted December 26, 2024 Hopefully maybe this is one, just hard to tell! Randy
