Modified M65

Hello,

Here is a modified M65 I helped make.  We started with a damaged M65 jacket that was covered in stains, after washing and removing the hood we dyed the jacket in Rit black dye. The hood was used to make the patch cover, sleeve pocket, and the binding on the back pockets. The Internal magazine pockets are present but made out of commercial black canvas. I suggest against using commercial canvas and straps, a duffle bag would work better. That way you have the green, as seen in the videos posted by Silent Warrior Foundation. Also, from the photos of the originals, the jackets that were used had gold-colored zippers, this one has silver-colored zippers. 

 

I plan to revisit and make another one of these jackets, without the velcro patch cover, and some other changes.
