Can anyone Help ID this One?

Anyone know about this one? Its not a M31 practice grenade ,it has the shape but the shaft doesnt have steps and looks to be all one piece .

Most likely an M31 dummy loading piece if dimensionally correct ( weight, OD, and length). If so, it should have an “ M” number inscribed somewhere. Problem is TM43 something does not list any loading dummies, could be a private collector manufactured piece to actually shoot off.

no markings anywhere, weight 12 oz, length 17 3/8 inches long
