Salvage Sailor Posted November 7, 2024 #1 Posted November 7, 2024 13th Bombardment Squadron (L-NI) sign, Light-Night Intruder "Hoot Owl" missions The Devil's Own Grim Reapers ...and two more transitional USAF photos Ground Control patch? Support patches?
yokota57 Posted November 7, 2024 #2 Posted November 7, 2024 The LT in the center appears to have a 6147th Tactical Control Group ("Mosquito") patch on his left chest.
Salvage Sailor Posted November 7, 2024 Author #3 Posted November 7, 2024 That's a correct ID and it would make sense with a Ground Control affiliation shown in the previous photograph. The patch on the right breast of the jacket is eluding me...
Salvage Sailor Posted November 7, 2024 Author #4 Posted November 7, 2024 Here it is, the patch on the Airman jacket courtesy of the USMF -->> Another ID Needed ID: 6150th Tactical Control Squadron The same photo was posted last year 6150th Tactical Control Squadron Unfaded original worn during the Korean War
Randy Posted November 8, 2024 #5 Posted November 8, 2024 It could be a flight patch as well, there seemed to be several done within the squadrons. Here's one I had, C Flight from the 6148 TCS. BTW, the skeleton from the 13th BMS was named Oscar... Randy

Could also be one of their Flights as Randy suggested.
