27Division18 Posted November 7, 2024 #1 Posted November 7, 2024 Can anyone tell me if these are WW2 US Army or USAAF boots?
themick Posted November 7, 2024 #2 Posted November 7, 2024 There are no military markings on them, so they are most likely a civilian work shoe. Steve
CavalryCombatant Posted November 7, 2024 #3 Posted November 7, 2024 The usaf did have a black low boot similar to those, but there’s a few differences. The horizontal stitch line is usually only seen on flight & cold weather boots, which these are not. The speed laces also make me lean towards civilian. Combined with the non military markings I believe these are 1960s-1980s civilian boots, and sharp looking ones at that. Would totally condition & wear these if they were my size and I had them, they appear very well made.
