Martynmoose Posted November 2, 2024 #1 Posted November 2, 2024 Hi. Can anyone suggest where this would have been worn please? It's about 2cm in length. Many thanks
Bones163 Posted January 13, 2025 #2 Posted January 13, 2025 The screw and nut arrangement suggests a cap badge. I've seen pics of WWII USN pilots wearing them on overseas style caps with their rank insignia opposite.

Allan H. Posted January 13, 2025 #4 Posted January 13, 2025 As small is this is, with the threaded nut, I would think that it was designed to be worn on the lapel of a civilian suit coat. Two cm would be REALLY small for a cap device and is smaller than what is usually seen on USN and USMC o/seas caps.. Allan
