I was given a TL-122-A by a friend in Italy several years ago that I’d like to get working.  It is named to a member of the 10th Mountain Div ( my father’s outfit).  Since it was given to me while in Italy, in an area where the 10th was engaged, I don’t believe it ever left the ETO.  The + terminal is heavily corroded so needs cleaning.  Does the angled head come off for access?  I don’t want to force/break it if not.  Thanks for the help

Personally, I wouldn't mess with it. It's association to a specific member of the 10th Mountain Division is much more interesting than the condition or functionality of the internal parts. As long as it's properly stored, that corrosion won't get any worse. That's just my opinion.
