DesertRick Posted October 29 #1 Posted October 29 Doing some research for the museum where I volunteer. These pics were shot in the 51st Evac Hospital area at Goffs, CA. Timeframe is April '43 to June '43. Wondering about the blue uniforms. Are the women just not wearing a white smock over them? Utility uniform? The last picture has a mix of uniform items. Thanks, Rick
DesertRick Posted October 31 Author #3 Posted October 31 Ok...I'm guessing the women's (and mens) blue dungarees are from the navy and actually mens, such as men's uniforms were given to the WASP's in the beginning. I can't find an exact match for the dresses. The women have probably removed the white smocks to work in. Others are wearing a mix of uniforms.
29navy Posted December 1 #4 Posted December 1 Here is a guide for the ANC blue uniform. Might explain what they are wearing: https://www.armynursecorpsww2.com/en/blue-outdoor-uniform
