Any reason this Zippo is going for over $2,500?

I came across this Zippo with 46 bids going for over $2,500 and was curious as to the reason, the description doesn't do it any justice. I see this being a sought-after item, but wow that's a high price! Does anyone know the reason behind this, is it a well known item that I'm not aware of?

I bought a PBR sailor's items a few years ago. In the lot was a Zippo from a brown water Navy small boat (I can't remember what boat it was) and it sold for $1000.00. There is a passionate military Zippo community and an equally passionate SF collecting community. Obviously, a MAC-SOG lighter would be pretty much at the top of the heap when it comes to desirability. I agree that this is an astounding price. But, if a Vietnam lighter goes for a crazy amount, this would be the one.
