LaFluer, who served at the White House when JFK was assassinated and during the badge change in 1964.  Note the date on his temporary credential is one week before JFK’s death.

His PSB is numbered 107 which was in the initial September 1964 assignment.

the case is the original Balfour case for the WHSB.

Just purchased a storage wars lot.

There is a cased William's and Anderson SN 927 whiteHouse Service Badge. Box dated A-6/64.

The badge is dark blue enamel

With star border surrounding the presidential seal.

Included is a WhiteHouse Staff  clip on Pocket Badge  temporary pass dated 1961  named to R L F Jones to

NewPort Rhode Island.

Additionally there are two name tags, same name, one for a uniform the other for an office door.

There were also 17 cased medals, 10 WWII campaign. victory etc, and 5 additional ISN   Viet Nam era medals.

My question is, if the WhiteHouse Service medal was only white enamel with no stars  ,why does this blue enamel with stars variety sn'd to the box list it as WhiteHouse not Presidential Service?

Any info appreciated.
