Remember Me Posted September 15, 2024 #1 Posted September 15, 2024 Liner named to Chaplain Spears (04 056 282). Also marked on the front of the sweat band, 1st Bde 11th Air assault. Missing the cross on the front. There is holes below the eyelet where it had been. Very nice WW 2 liner with Vietnam Era sweatband and names trapperman. I have had this for years just recently noticed it looking for something else. Thanks.Greg
Remember Me Posted September 15, 2024 Author #2 Posted September 15, 2024 Should say name tape. Not names trapperman. Have no idea where that came from.
patches Posted November 15, 2024 #3 Posted November 15, 2024 Found him. Ralph S. Remember Me Posted November 15, 2024 Author #4 Posted November 15, 2024 I can't remember where I got the liner. Usually I can. I live 10 miles from Zelienople and Harmony PA. I will print out his obituary and display it with the liner. Should I find a cross and replace it on the liner. Or leave it be.
manayunkman Posted November 15, 2024 #5 Posted November 15, 2024 If you do put a cross on it make sure the clutch posts line up with the holes.
