Grouping - Looking for info on this 503rd PIR DSC awardee

Hi all,

‘bought this little time capsule stored in his medical kit box.  These are his wwii items, his own including Aussie souvenirs.   Easy to find a basic DSC citation for him on line but surprisingly very little else.   I would have thought Capt, Medic, DSC, PH 2X would have generated a history with more online hits.   Anybody with more skills than me (just about everyone) who has some info please reach out.    I’ll be selling the lot but would love to know his story and pass the info along.  Thanks.

Do you know if he's from Pennsylvania? I can't find anything on newspapers.
