Found a cool way to store headsets..

Anyone else have a soft spot early USAF headsets? All are either H70 or H78 on the comm cord tag… some minor differences between the frames

One model has screw holes in the frame for the boom mic mount

the other uses the earcup screws to mount the boom mic, no holes in the frame for a mount..

the way the cord is attached to the frame is another difference… one uses two screws to mount the mic plug, the uses a clip in mount…

the differences in the frames are not specific to either model.. one 78 has frame mounted boom mic and another has the earphone mount…

I’d say the difference in the 70 and 78 are the speakers, but…

the flat speakers are H 79 and the angled are H 143

and of the 5 examples… the 70 and 78 both use the 79 or 143…without regard to model
