sapper22 Posted August 30, 2024 #1 Posted August 30, 2024 I am trying to find my named medals, documents, certificates, awards, orders, NCOers, DD-214, ect. and my discharge document. ARCOM, JSAM, AAM, AGCM were all named. The paperwork was in three 3-ring binders. They were sold by my ex-wife in Vicksburg, MS several years ago. I served 27 years in the Army from 1989-2016 as a construction engineer retiring as a Sergeant First Class with a tour in Bosnia and 3 in Iraq. I will be willing to pay for them. Please let me know if you have them or run across them. Jeffrey A. Moran
sapper22 Posted October 13, 2024 Author #2 Posted October 13, 2024 It looks like medals and paperwork maybe lost forever. Thanks for looking everyone. Jeff
Rakkasan187 Posted October 13, 2024 #3 Posted October 13, 2024 Jeff, You may be able to reach out to Army Human Resources Command and get copies of your records. I am not sure if they would/could get you replacement medals, the only other option would be to purchase them through clothing and sales and or pick up what you need from members here.. Sorry to hear that this happened but HRC will have (should have all copies of your records).. Leigh
Cobra 6 Actual Posted October 13, 2024 #4 Posted October 13, 2024 Adding to what Leigh wrote if you could get a copy of your DD 214 any medals listed on there would be replaced and engraved free by Uncle Sam: https://www.archives.gov/veterans/replace-medals.html
