Thanks for the ID guys…I was fairly confident about the cruise patches…because of the quantity of the Yacht club patches, I was hesitant 

  
the flyer enlisted in WWII, his career spanned several decades…with photos of him by his plane etc…..sadly his logbook and ID card with his rank and flight time went in another lot, which I wasn’t able to win..  the logbook was dated 1966 with his flight time and type aircraft etc… his ID card was dated 67… 

his web belt, mag holder and holster …

Odd that a WWII enlisted USN aircrew man was issued a Eagle snap belt and pouch.. the holster is a 1917 Sears

VAW-112 GOLDEN HAWKS - ASSIGNED TO CARRIER AIR WING NINE (CVW-9) ABOARD USS ENTERPRISE

 

The squadron was established April 20, 1967 and assigned to Carrier Air Wing NINE (CVW-9). The squadron made three combat deployments operating the E-2A in the western Pacific in support of the Vietnam conflict aboard the USS ENTERPRISE, CVAN 65.

 

 AIRCRAFT:  Grumman E-2A Hawkeye (1967-70)
 

 DEPLOYMENTS:  April 1967 - July 1967 with CVW-9 aboard USS Enterprise (CVAN 65)
January 1968 - July 1968 with CVW-9 aboard USS Enterprise (CVAN 65)
January 1969 - July 1969 with CVW-9 aboard USS Enterprise (CVAN 65)
