USCapturephotos Posted August 3, 2024 #2 Posted August 3, 2024 I think I remember seeing one like it in one of my reference books but am not home to check. It’s got that “WW1 feel” to me. Paul
bldrhouse Posted August 3, 2024 Author #3 Posted August 3, 2024 thanks; would sure appreciate your checking ref books when home.. z
AmmoNut426 Posted August 5, 2024 #4 Posted August 5, 2024 Is this one of the early styles when we went from pineapple to the ball style? Almost looks like a hybrid of the two.
bldrhouse Posted August 5, 2024 Author #5 Posted August 5, 2024 whatever it is, someone paid around $6,000 for it at auction.

bldrhouse Posted August 5, 2024 Author #8 Posted August 5, 2024 Thanks on that. I'm pretty sure it was / is a WWI grenade. Thanks for all the ideas and suggestions. I'm going to stop following this thread since the grenade sold -- and for a lot more than I would have paid -- so someone knew what it was.. z
