I recently picked up this in the Box Mini sword letter opener.  What vintage do you think this is ?  It came with it's original box Marked as follows:

Novelty Letter Opener

U.S. Navy

The detail is amazining.  I cannot see a maker mark, other then GEMSCO on the box..

Me too.  Never have seen a box before.  It is old..  I assume 30-40-50's??
