Ive kept my eyes peeled for one of these for quite a few years. Missing the post, which looks to have never been added, and the rope is missing, but still a solid example of an EGA that has eluded me for a long time. Just the right amount of patina!

I've been collecting for decades, and I am a former Marine.  It was only until this year I added a couple of WWI era Eagle Globe and Anchor insignias to my collection. But I am developing an appreciation for the variants of these.

 

So, I am no expert on these, but this is visually an interesting example.  Nice patina.  Thank you for sharing!

This was certainly another that I wasn't holding my breath in finding a legit example. You just never know what will show up!
