Threewood Posted July 27 Share #1 Posted July 27 Wow. Seller had this wing listed on auction with starting bid of $99. No takers, but I was watching it and planning on bidding. Listing disappeared. New listing has it at buy it now for $450. Seriously? Nice wing, looks fine to me. I rarely see wings sell under buy it now. Auction will bring market value. Bull Moose Posted July 27 Share #2 Posted July 27 I have a couple of this Flight Nurse pattern, paid $50 (sterling) and $125 (not marked sterling). Both were non eBay purchases. I keep a record of what wings (I’m interested in) sell for on eBay, it goes back 10-12 years and is by no means complete. My records show 6 of these have sold over time, $207.50, $188.50, $151.08, $202.50, $57.06 and $395. Two of the six were marked Sterling (202 &395). If you ever figure out eBay, let me know. Best, I can tell there is no rime or reason to what things sell for on any given day. There is so much strange stuff that goes on there. Several of my best wings were buy it now bargains. Sometimes under priced to start or a lower offer was accepted. The two Navajo Bombardier wings that sold on eBay a couple months ago may be the best buy it now bargain of all time.
