A Family looking for Grandfathers HBT jacket - Sold on IMA

This is not my family, I am just posting here to spread the message. If anybody has any information, the original posters Facebook is attached below. Also attached is a photo of the IMA listing / description, along with what the original poster wrote about the situation.

“Urgent and Important Request:

I have found by chance that this HBT jacket was sold by IMA at an unknown date. It belonged to my grandfather. He passed away yesterday June 17th, on National Corpsman's day coincidentally. I am desperately seeking the buyer with a request to purchase the item for my family. At the very least to ask to be contacted if they ever choose to sell it. It is priceless to us and have no idea how this even came to the market. I have a vast collection and am willing to go to great lengths to buy or trade for it.

 

IMA has agreed to forward my information and plea to the buyer with no guarantee of a response. It's very generous and the most I can hope for.
