kiaiokalewa Posted June 21, 2024 #1 Posted June 21, 2024 Now I can tell you that these are from another stratosphere, exceptionally scarce, almost never encountered.
kiaiokalewa Posted June 21, 2024 Author #2 Posted June 21, 2024 On the same level of the early U.S. Army's Mess Jacket Insignia these are remarkable Insignia made in the Philippines by a very well known Insignia maker.
kiaiokalewa Posted June 21, 2024 Author #3 Posted June 21, 2024 Without a doubt it is Crispulo's craftsmanship put to the wheel to spin out his very fine distinctives for the Constabulary troops. Do note the many different hallmarks used by Zamora. As a notable bonus we have Brias Roxas at the table too.
kiaiokalewa Posted June 21, 2024 Author #4 Posted June 21, 2024 Well, the images speak for themselves.
kiaiokalewa Posted June 21, 2024 Author #5 Posted June 21, 2024 I think most collectors are aware of the enlisted collar brass with enamel P.C. additions.
kiaiokalewa Posted June 21, 2024 Author #6 Posted June 21, 2024 What isn't encountered at all are the officers brass. When was the last time you've seen a Bureau of Prison collar insignia? I'm just happy to have these in my holdings...
kiaiokalewa Posted July 21, 2024 Author #7 Posted July 21, 2024 A few more Constabulary off to the right in the P.I. Scout display I have.
kiaiokalewa Posted July 21, 2024 Author #9 Posted July 21, 2024 Hey Mario really appreciate it the nice response. When have a chance drop me an email. Aloha, John
kiaiokalewa Posted July 23, 2024 Author #10 Posted July 23, 2024 A closer look of the constab stuff in the frame.
kiaiokalewa Posted July 23, 2024 Author #11 Posted July 23, 2024 Not your mass produced patch type DIs during and after WWII but the real deals from the Pre War era that the Philippine Division staff members had worn on their campaign hats. The smaller variant is incised CZAMORA.
Usa1918 Posted February 21, 2025 #12 Posted February 21, 2025 Wonderful collection of insignia, I've never seen most of them Keith
kiaiokalewa Posted March 22, 2025 Author #14 Posted March 22, 2025 The detail on the brass piece is incredible. The reverse tells that the metal smith was resourceful and recycled a former P.C. badge or coin to craft this badge.
manayunkman Posted March 22, 2025 #15 Posted March 22, 2025 Outstanding collection of very interesting insignia.
