It';s a light brown, two pocket shirt, no epaulettes. There is a label inside that reads: Shirt Flannel The Peter Company Cont w-669-qm-1706 Copy CF Dated Feb 19th 1943 Stock No 55-3-18501 There's some other stuff underneath: QMC Tent Spec FOD No 96a Dated .... Phila GM Depot Is this simply gibberish? Why go to all the lengths of producing a shirt with a label if it isn't based on fact? This is quite a good shot of the colour.
