PinFiire 2mm Rifle

Hi Folks:  FYI... I purchased what I thought was a "toy" metal gun at an estate sale.  Over the weekend at the Portland militia show, I had the "toy" rifle in a display case and walked up and informed me what it was.  He opened the back revealing the chamber and I was surprised.  
 

When I researched the PinFire 2mm vintage items, I was surprised at the prices.

 

My small rifle has a hammer, trigger, sling, and bayonet.

 

Has anyone heard or seen them?  I AM POSTING FYI

I knew nothing about this rifle until a young sailor walked up and asked to see it and then started telling me what it was.  I was surprised and thankful.  I didn't know....these things go for a lot which I also didn't know.  
 

So if someone sees these ...they are PinFire weapons

I've been collecting about 40 years.  I have never seen or heard of one of these.  Thanks for sharing!

You are welcome.  I’ve been collecting since mid 1980s and this was a big surprise….  We’re all learning.
