Sorry if this is long winded. We have 1 silk and 1 cotton flag. some insignia, a sword, a couple knives, a Chinese hat, and a couple of other Japanese things. The piece of aluminum is maybe from a plane?  Also some money and things from India. I have the capture papers for one of the flags and the bayonet. Also the brown paper wrapper lists several of the things shown on the table. Also a picture of SGT. Rock somewhere in china.  Been wanting to post this for awhile and now that retirement is here seems I have all kinds of time. Hope I didn't take too much of your time. If you all want any close ups of anything let me know. Or if you have more info on any of this stuff that would be great.

Thanks Mark

Mr.Jerry

Great group of bring backs!

That Chinese hat might be the rarest piece in there!

Mbec,

Awesome grouping!. And as I collect Chinese items Mr. Jerry is correct, that cap is a gem.

I think you’re probably right about that aluminum being from an aircraft.

Great grouping!

great grouping!  I like the diversity of items.  The aluminum is definitely a piece of aircraft.  Japanese paint on aircraft was notorious for wearing off to bear aluminum.  I would guess it is off of a Japanese aircraft.  I see the rubies in the cigarette case.  Really neat.  I like this grouping a lot.  Thank you for sharing!

Glad you all are enjoying it. I really like the cap too. I think it’s the only one I’ve seen in the wild. Too bad I didn’t know he had this stuff before he passed. I’d love to know the story on all of it.
