Posted for review is this first pattern K.G. Luke Flight Surgeon wing.
Three piece construction, base wing with the caduceus applied to an observer device.

Wing has a raised “K.G. Luke Melb. Australia” hallmark and is  stamped “Sterling”.

Caduceus has partial raised Luke & Melb marks.

Entire wing, including the pin and catch is gold plated.

The wing shows die/mold damage where the wing meets the observer device on the wearers left side.

Width is 3 1/16 inches.

Looks nice to me as well. But what is going on with the front part of the right wing, near the base?

Look like the mold was damaged and the repair job wasn’t of the highest quality.
