Anyone tried to clean ink off a patch?

I just got in this Italian-weave 36th patch as it was listed really cheap and would work well in a case I have. The problem is quite obvious, in that it looks like someone used marker or some other sort of ink and covered part of the thing.

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for potential treatments I could try to restore or minimize the damage. Luckily I don’t have a lot into it so I don’t mind the risk, but was curious as to y’all’s thoughts!  I’ve seen some amazing work on the forum in cleaning other stuff!

Acetone from your local hardware store. But you have to be careful how you do it.

You dont want to soak the whole patch.

Prob rubber gloves... and old cotton T shirt as a pad over your thumb and forefinger. Then put the acetone on the pad and blot

or put pressure on the

stained area. Might have to do it several times moving to a clean area of the t shirt each time.

Acetone removes marker ink.

Do it outside or in a well ventilated area.

Acetone Fumes !!!
