TLeo Posted June 2 #1 Posted June 2 I am just starting the research on a little WW1 group that included a numbered GCM, Victory Medal and numbered PH. Does this number fall into the serial range for WW1 and someone enlisted in 1917? I seem to recall seeing somewhere that is does but can't seem to find that info right now. It's not named but am hoping the records will show it issued to my guy who was also wounded (gassed). No 24633
katieony Posted June 2 #2 Posted June 2 Yes, 24633 would have been awarded to a Marine that enlisted in May 1917. The number should be confirmed in his service record. Michael
